So! The winner of our April Fools game review contest is…. (and this ain’t no joke).. Sean A. with his awesome review of Zork! (Also known as Llanion to some of you out there!).. Congrats Sean!

A Funny Thing Happened..

And we got FORUMS! (again) Big Big Big Thanks to the Talking Ship Podcast folks for settin’ us up with a new forum home! Everyone make sure to head over there and get all registered and such’s! Start the chattin’ and postin’ and forumin’.. Or something like that. If you have questions, you can post em there. If you have comments, you can post ‘em there.. If you have complaints.. Talk to the hand.. (Ok, fine.. post ‘em.. But be nice, we don’t want to get kicked out )

Seriously, our Forums are there for you guys. I am going to try to make sure we get a post up for each show where you can discuss the show or stuff you heard in it. Not sure I am going to post the twitter questions.. since.. they.. are.. um.. “twitter” questions. (We’ll see). You can also use the rest of the forums there (what? there is more?) to discuss games! I think they have some movies and other stuff they talk about there too.

So, head over there and also check out Talking Ship, cuz they are just so cool..

Contest – April Fools Review

Ok. Sorry we didn’t put this up earlier, but if you have been listening to the podcast (*hint* *hint*) you would have heard about this! Want to sit in and join the crew on an episode of Poygamerous? Here’s your chance! In addition to some other prize (which I don’t have any idea what it is.. maybe my unopened box copy of Tabula Rasa? ) we are giving away a guest spot on the show! How do you win it? I’m glad you asked.

Participate in our April Fools Review contest! Just send us via email or voicemail a review (audio or text) of a game. Isn’t that easy? What? Oh yeah.. It has to be funny… And, it should be FAKE! Give a review of a real game in some funny manner that makes us LOL. Give a review of a fake game! Whatever! If you can make us laugh then you might get our vote.

Please get your entries in by March 28 (that gives you a few days!) please. The crew of the PolyG will review the entries and pick a winner. Hopefully we will let that winner know who they are on the show the next night and then we’ll pick a day when they can hang with us on da Skype.

iTunes Issue

There seems to be a small issue with iTunes and Epsiode 8. When you go to our page on the “store”, you won’t see it there right now. If you subscribe though, it will be there as the most recent episode. So, either you can subscribe and get it that way, or download it directly from the site. Hopefully we can get this fixed and Episode 9 will be correctly setup in the store!

1. Syrana from Sideshow and Syrana will be joining the show permanently.. She’s never leaving.. Muahaha haha haha.. *cough* *cough*.. Anyway, you’ll get to listen to her dulcet tones balance out the testosterone-fest that Episodes 1-4 were from here on out!

Hey there and welcome to a new Podcast/Blog (mostly podcast, I think). Welcome to Polygamerous. As you might have figured out from the name, we are all about gaming! ALL gaming.. Well, video/computer gaming anyway. The idea is that we love gaming want to share that love with you! We also find it much easier to talk about it than write about it. So, a podcast.

We are a member of the Gaming Studio Network, a community for gamers!

Oh wait.. Who are we? Well, we consists of Mike “Fimlys” from the Twisted Nether Blogcast, Andy “Daewin” and Eddie “Brigwyn” from the Hunting Lodge Podcast and Russell “Rustee” from the Slash 2 Podcast.

Our plan at this point is to record on Mondays. Not necessarily EVERY Monday, but we will definitely post the schedule as soon as we have it ironed out. We WILL be having our first episode recording LIVE (as all will be) at 8pm PST on 11/30/2009. If you can show up in the Gaming Studio Network USTREAM room at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/gaming-studio-network . Join us! It will be a fun time.. Especially since we still aren’t exactly sure what we are doing. The hosts are all “seasoned” podcasters, but it’s a new show.. So check us out!

We will be available on iTunes as soon as we get one episode up, so you will be able to subscribe to us there, but you can also subscribe to our RSS feed over there in the top right corner.

Polygamerous needs your help! As part of the new podcast, we want to have a cool new feature. 1-Minute Review! Obviously these are 1 minute (or less) reviews of a video/computer/mobile game that you liked/disliked. Please make sure to include, in the audio, your name, the game’s name, publisher (if you know it) and platform(s). Record in any way you can mp3/ogg/iphone and send to fimlys at gmail.com .. Email any questions also to there. New games/old games/whatever! This will be an ongoing feature, so keep em coming..
