Tuesday Morning Quickies 2/15/2011

Those whacky folks at Fox have created quite a storm.  Industrygamers.com has two articles about how they took things out of context and heavily eddited what people were saying to change the meaning.  Naw, Fox?  Nevah.  But then thats probly my liberal media bias speaking.  Steinberg’s interview was dropped, check it out here.  If your interested in Dr. Carole Lieberman trying to not sound crazy you can check it out here.

Blizzard is lookign to release Diablo III in 2011 as reported by kotaku.com.  Boy I hope this isnt them pushing a title out the door to help grind up money for Activision.  Check it out here.

Marvel Vs Capcom is out Woo Hoo!!  I’m going to have to give this a whirl, the Galactus fight looks fun!

Vgchartz.com has two great stories.  The first is Sony being all hard nosed about demanding the hard drive of the PS3 hacker, and the Judge siding with them.  Check it out here.  The next is someone trying to get together a class action lawsuit over Sony breaking the PS3 with an update and then demanding money to fix it.  Check it out here.  Frankly I think theres a good lawsuit in the ability to use Linuix announced and it being  pulled.  Sony lost the fight over Star Wars Galaxies and deceptive advertising I’d of hoped they wised up.

Ah Sony you make it so easy to hate you.  My reasoning for not touching DCUO.

Finally I was pointed to a cool article from Bill Roper about his vision for making MMOs work again.  I cant agree with his logic everywhere, its very one sided, but he has soem intelligent ideas and some great insights into the other side of “WTF dude why did my game shut down?”.
