While Global Agenda’s previous $12.99 monthly subscription was optional, those who didn’t pay it found their game more than a little restricted. Subscribers gained access to the alliance vs. alliance ‘World Domination’ mode, the auction house, crafting, in-game mail, improved communication and more, not forgetting character levels beyond thirty.
“Future content updates will be delivered via optional paid expansions,” Hi-Rez explains, to support the game. One such expansion, named ‘Sandstorm,’ is being released for free in two parts this summer to give players a freebie taste of the new way. - Nintendo 3DS coming out 2011!
- Pax Prime performers! PAX Prime’s “bigger and better” convention hall will play host to big names like 2K Games, Capcom, EA, Microsoft, Nintendo and Ubisoft. The main stage will see a cadre of returning musical acts, including Anamanaguchi, Jonathan Coulton, MC Frontalot, Metroid Metal, The Minibosses, Paul and Storm and The Protomen.

Rumor Mill
- The first round of Star Wars the Old Republic testing started this weekend with 200 people given codes to test the starting planets. The starter planet testing will continue until launch and Bioware will continue to give out codes in a similar fashion until everyone that has signed up for testing has had a chance to play.
- Apparently the new Twisted Metal game will only be rated T for teen. They want it to appeal to a broader audience aka are hoping it will push PS3 sales.
- They are currently working on a script for the Assassin’s Creed movie following the plot of the first game. The team that will be making it are the same ones that make the live action mini movie for the second game only this time they’ll have a much larger budget.
