This week we have a super duper awesome show for you! It’s extra long, but packed with the most awesome stuff on the planet.. or OFF the planet for that matter. We not only have the usual gaming news, reviews, discussion and such but we’ve got an awesome interview with 2 of the fine folk over at CCP (EVE Online). CCP Manifest and CCP Jasonitas grace our humble “virtual studio” and reveal all the deep dark secrets that are lurking out there in the void of space.. (well, not really). Yeah, the show is long, but it’s worth every minute! |

Interview with CCP Manifest and CCP Jasonitas from CCP Games
Darcy and Russell had the opportunity to talk with CCP Manifest (PR Associate) and CCP Jasonitas (Content Team) from CCP Games, the developer of EVE Online. They provided us with some great information regarding the unique sandbox game world of New Eden as well as some of the challenges of running the universe on a single shard. CCP Manifest and CCP Jasonitas discussed their current roles and how they got started with CCP Games. CCP Jasonitas shared which mission he wrote is his favorite, and what their favorite aspect of the game is. We also took a look at the relationship between the developers and the player community, especially in regards to the Council of Stellar Management (CSM), which gives elected players a chance to meet face-to-face with developers to discuss issues, concerns, and suggestions. We lightly touched upon the highly anticipated Incarna expansion and the console MMOFPS DUST 514 which are currently in development. Of course, we confirmed they have been Polygamerized as well. Oh! And we even asked CCP Jasonitas about the Mothman.
For more information about EVE Online you can visit their website and check out a 14 day trial.

Ratch! How are things back on Tuchanka? Isn’t it pyjak mating season right now? Oh that’s right it’s always pyjak mating season HAHA! Anyway as I said in my last message my Blue Rose and I have been having trouble. She thinks I don’t know that our children will be asari but I don’t care. When we first met I knew right away that she was the one for me. I saw some turians bugging her, damn turians don’t they have any damn manners. It’s the female that makes the mating requests! But you should have seen my Blue Rose in action. After I took down three of the turians the last one pulled a gun on me, but my Blue Rose lifted him into the air with her biotics and threw him half way across the hangar. Just imagine how strong our children will be. But it’s more than that, I love her Ratch. I’d do anything for her and I want to be with her till the day I return to the soil.
But look at me ramble like a whelp talking about their first varren pack kill. I think I figured out a way to get my Blue Rose to take me back. While I was at Eternity(local bar here, I like the bartender, her father was krogan) I met this human female named Kasumi. She overheard me talking to the bartender and told me all I need to do is be romantic. She borrowed my omni-tool so that she could upload some poetry and songs to it for me. Probably shouldn’t have let her borrow it since I have a lot of security clearance codes but she had it back to me the next morning and nothing seemed tampered with. Humans are funny like that, always need to see or do something themselves to make sure it gets done right.
This is what I’ve wrote so far, hopefully my Blue Rose will see how sensitive I can be and take me back.
Blue rose of Ilium,
You have blossomed in a tower of glass and plastic,
But beauty under glass is untested and weak.
Where are your honored dead to fertilize the ground that you might grow strong?
On the rocky plains of Tuchanka,
I will build you a garden from the bones of my ancestors.
Blue rose of Ilium,
Let your roots dig deep into the hot soil of Tuchanka!
Let our scorching sun and sheeting rain turn your supple beauty into strength!
For if our love is to survive,
It must grow thorns to pierce the hand of any that would uproot it!
Blue rose of Ilium,
Leave eternity unembraced and grapple with the glorious struggle that is us,
Here and now!
I am speechless, not with blood rage but with love,
And I stand here humble and mute, to offer you a home.
Come with me Blue rose of Ilium, let our three hearts beat as two.
I’ll let you know how things go. If she takes me back I’ll bring her to Tuchanka so you can meet her. And who knows maybe our children could take the Rite one day. I know they’ll never be accepted as part of the krogan people but maybe they could be a part of an Urdnot krantt while they take their Rite. I know they’ll always be seen as asari but I want them to be proud of their father’s heritage too.
