|Welcome back for the 2nd episode of Polygamerous! Couldn’t listen to just one, eh? This week Eddie finally joins us and runs the show, we have a lively discussion about the top 5 PC Games according to Gamasutra, and Mike tantalizes you with his i7 rig of awesomeness. That and much, much more! Oh, and Rustee isn’t recording from the deathstar this week..
We’re also moving our live show time to 8:30pm PST, still on Mondays, but you can join us in the chat room around 7:30pm PST for the “preshow” (which generally consists of Andy playing some music for you and chattin it up).
Again, we want to mention that you should spread the Polygamerous word! Let your friends know about us and get the word out! Do you have a blog or other internet site? Put up a review of our show! Thanks again for being a loyal listener (sure, 2 shows is loyalty, darnit!)
Again again, we are still/always looking for those 1-2 minute reviews! New/Old/Future games. Rant/Rave/Speculate for 1-2 minutes in audio (any format is fine) and send it to email@example.com or you can call and leave a message (not sure the max length it can be) at 407-705-3161 (yes, it will say something about Fimlys and Twisted Nether Blogcast, we’re co-opting that line for now.. Don’t tell Fimlys.. )..

http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3177224 – Star Trek Online Preorder Incentives Outlined:
Cryptic Studios and Atari announced a number of preorder incentives for Star Trek Online this afternoon, including access to the beta, a head start program, and exclusive in-game items.
Preordering the sci-fi MMO guarantees a spot in the game’s open beta test, which is set to run from January 12 to January 26. Beyond that, these players will also be able to access the game’s live servers starting Friday, January 29 — the weekend before Star Trek Online’s official launch on February 2.
This week’s Xbox Live Arcade release will be retro remake Qix ++.
Originally released in arcades by Space Invaders creator Taito in 1981, Qix involved boxing off sections of the screen to capture them while avoiding roaming enemies.
Qix ++ will arrive on December 9 for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
Following last week’s reveal of Mass Effect 2’s biotic Adept class, BioWare has unveiled the revamped Engineer in its sci-fi RPG sequel.
The tech specialist now takes on a more active role through combat drones, damaging fire and freezing ice attacks, and improved hacking which properly turns mechanical opponents into allies, as well as heavy pistols–such as the X-3A Predator–and submachine guns.
